New procedure aims to fix 'Standing Up' dizziness by opening blocked heart veins

NCT ID NCT07195903

Summary

This study is testing if a minimally invasive procedure to open narrowed veins above the heart can help people who get dizzy or have low blood pressure when they stand up. It will enroll 100 adults whose symptoms haven't improved with standard medications. Researchers will use a small balloon or mesh tube to widen the veins and then track symptoms and quality of life for two years to see if it helps.
