First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 38 times
Summary
This study tests an experimental oral drug called VDPHL01 for people with mild to moderate pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia). About 70 men and women aged 18-65 will take the pill daily for 12 months to see if it safely increases hair count and improves appearance. The drug works by blocking hormones that cause hair loss, but it is not a cure—treatment must continue to maintain results.
