Summary
This study is testing an investigational drug called VCT220 to see if it is safe and effective for treating high blood pressure in people who are also overweight or have obesity. It will involve about 160 adults and compare the drug's effects against a placebo over 20 weeks. The main goal is to see how much it lowers blood pressure, while also checking for changes in body weight.
