New pill aims to tackle high blood pressure and weight at the same time

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called VCT220 for people with high blood pressure who are also overweight or obese. About 160 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo for 20 weeks to see if it safely lowers blood pressure. The goal is to find a better treatment option for this common health problem.
