New spine device aims to mend broken backs
NCT ID NCT07259811
Summary
This is a small, early study to check if a new spinal implant called the VCFix System is safe and works for treating painful vertebral compression fractures. Ten patients with a single recent fracture will receive the implant at two European hospitals. Researchers will monitor how well the device is placed and whether it successfully reduces the fracture, while tracking any serious side effects for two years.
