Summary

This study looks at whether a gene called vaspin, which is linked to fat tissue, is different in people with psoriasis and if those differences affect how severe the disease is. Researchers will collect blood samples from 60 adults with psoriasis to check for gene changes and measure vaspin levels. No treatment is given; the goal is simply to learn more about what causes psoriasis and how it progresses.
