New wash may beat saline for infected leg sores

Summary
This study compares Vashe solution to standard saline for cleaning leg ulcers that show signs of infection. About 102 adults with venous or mixed leg ulcers will receive one of the two solutions during wound care. The goal is to see which solution better reduces redness, pain, and other infection signs after 4 weeks.
