New wash fights bacteria in stubborn leg sores

Summary
This study is comparing two wound-cleaning solutions to see which works better for leg ulcers showing signs of a heavy bacterial load. About 102 adults with venous leg ulcers will use either Vashe solution or standard saline solution for four weeks while wearing compression bandages. The main goal is to see which treatment better reduces signs of inflammation and infection in the wound.
