New wound wash trial aims to fight infected leg sores

Summary
This study compares Vashe wound wash solution against standard saline solution for treating venous leg ulcers that show signs of bacterial infection. Researchers want to see which treatment better reduces inflammation and infection signs over 4 weeks. The trial will include 102 adults with leg ulcers who will continue wearing compression bandages throughout the study.
