Summary
This study looks at how chemotherapy drugs for gastrointestinal cancer can damage blood vessels, causing chest pain or heart problems. Researchers will use a device called EndoPAT to measure blood vessel function in 60 patients before, during, and after treatment. They will also test if vasodilator drugs (isosorbide mononitrate or diltiazem) can prevent this damage compared to a placebo. The goal is to better understand and manage these side effects.
