Summary

This study tests a new catheter called VARIPULSE against an already approved one, FARAWAVE, for people with persistent atrial fibrillation (a long-lasting irregular heartbeat). About 466 participants will receive one of the two treatments to see which is safer and better at restoring normal heart rhythm. The goal is to control the condition and improve quality of life, not to cure it.
