Varicose vein study: fix all at once or wait?
NCT ID NCT07445425
First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether it's better to treat smaller branch veins at the same time as the main vein during a common varicose vein procedure (radiofrequency ablation) or to wait and treat them later. About 206 adults with varicose veins will be followed for six months to see who needs additional treatment and how their symptoms change. The goal is to find the best approach to reduce repeat procedures and improve recovery.
