NCT ID NCT07561320

First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study compares two treatments for varicose veins in the leg: foam sclerotherapy (injecting a foam to close the vein) and mechanochemical ablation (using a device plus medication). Both are done with local anesthesia and allow quick recovery. The goal is to see which keeps the vein closed longer and improves quality of life more. 50 adults with varicose veins will be randomly assigned to one treatment and followed over time.
