New hope for faster, less painful varicose vein recovery

NCT ID NCT07390097

Summary

This study is testing whether a medication called calcium dobesilate can help people recover more comfortably after a common varicose vein procedure. About 250 adults scheduled for radiofrequency ablation will be randomly assigned to take the medication or receive standard care alone. The goal is to see if the drug, taken before and after the procedure, reduces pain, bruising, and helps people return to normal activities faster.
