First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a program that combines counseling with nicotine replacement therapy (like patches or gum) to help e-cigarette users quit vaping. About 180 adults who vape regularly will be split into two groups: one gets counseling only, the other gets counseling plus nicotine replacement. Researchers will check if they've quit at 3, 6, and 12 months. The goal is to find a proven way to help people stop vaping.
