NCT ID NCT06804109

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a mild, non-invasive nerve stimulation device can improve attention and thinking in young adults who vape. One hundred healthy people aged 18-25 who currently or previously used e-cigarettes will be randomly assigned to receive either real stimulation or a sham version. They will then take three computer-based tests measuring focus, processing speed, and word recall. The goal is to understand how vaping affects brain function and whether nerve stimulation can help.
