Summary

This study is testing an investigational drug called vamifeport for adults with hereditary hemochromatosis, a condition where the body absorbs too much iron. The main goal is to see if vamifeport can safely reduce the amount of iron stored in the liver, which is measured by a special MRI scan. Researchers will compare the drug's effects against a placebo in about 84 participants to see if it helps control the disease and improves symptoms like fatigue and joint pain.
