New tool aims to spot hidden emotional struggles in young cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing a Spanish version of a questionnaire designed to identify emotional distress and support needs in adolescents and young adults with cancer. Researchers will give the questionnaire to 100 Spanish-speaking patients aged 15-25 to see if it reliably detects who is struggling. If it works, doctors could use this quick tool in clinics to better understand and respond to the unique emotional challenges young cancer patients face.
