New hope for Hard-to-Treat schizophrenia symptoms

Summary
This study tested whether adding a drug called valbenazine to a person's current antipsychotic medication could better control schizophrenia symptoms. It involved 442 adults whose symptoms weren't fully controlled by their existing medication. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either valbenazine or a placebo (inactive pill) for 10 weeks, and researchers measured changes in their symptoms.
