First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a gentle, non-invasive electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve in the ear can help children with spastic cerebral palsy. 18 children aged 8-18 will either receive standard physical therapy (Bobath) alone or combined with this ear stimulation for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if the added stimulation reduces muscle stiffness, improves movement, and boosts quality of life.
