Ear zaps plus exercise show promise for fibromyalgia relief
NCT ID NCT07577102
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026
Summary
This study tested a non-invasive nerve stimulation device placed on the ear (taVNS) combined with a home exercise program in 90 adults with fibromyalgia. Participants were split into three groups: one-sided stimulation, both ears, or exercise alone. The goal was to see if the device could improve symptoms like pain, anxiety, sleep, and exercise ability. Results may help develop new ways to manage fibromyalgia symptoms without medication.
