Zap your neck to ease chronic pain? new device trial begins
NCT ID NCT07409363
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a handheld device that gently stimulates a nerve in the neck can help reduce chronic muscle and joint pain and related symptoms like dizziness and fatigue. Twelve adults with long-term pain and a specific type of nervous system imbalance will try both the real device and a fake version to see if it makes a difference. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and shows enough promise to justify a larger future study.
