Summary

This study looked at whether using a vaginal contraceptive ring for four months affects the risk of developing metabolic syndrome in overweight or obese women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Researchers enrolled 22 participants to monitor changes in blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and other health markers. The goal was to understand if this birth control method helps manage long-term health risks associated with PCOS.
