Vaginal gel may boost good bacteria to stop recurrent infections

Summary
This study tests whether a lactic acid gel (Phexxi) can increase healthy bacteria in the vagina and reduce repeat infections like bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections. About 22 women with a history of these infections will use the gel for 30 days. Researchers will check changes in vaginal bacteria and symptoms using DNA tests and surveys.
