New gel offers hope for breast cancer survivors suffering painful menopausal symptoms

NCT ID NCT06922136

Summary

This study is testing whether a vaginal gel called Hyalo Gyn can safely reduce vaginal dryness and related discomfort in postmenopausal women who are breast cancer survivors. 156 participants will use either the real gel or a placebo gel for 12 weeks, with neither the doctors nor the women knowing which one they receive. The main goal is to see if the gel improves women's perception of vaginal dryness better than the placebo, and the study also looks at other symptoms and sexual function.
