New combo aims to stall colorectal cancer spread

Summary

This study tests whether adding valproate (a drug used for seizures) to standard antibody therapy can help control metastatic colorectal cancer longer. About 38 adults with a specific genetic type (RAS wild type) will receive the combination after initial treatment. The goal is to delay cancer growth and improve survival.
