First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study compares a vacuum-assisted electric shaver to a standard electric trimmer for removing hair before surgery. The goal is to see if the vacuum shaver reduces germs in the air and on surfaces, and if it helps prevent surgical site infections. About 120 men having laparoscopic surgery will take part.
