First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether VACUSERA PRP tubes can effectively increase platelet concentration in blood samples from healthy volunteers. About 194 people aged 18 to 60 gave a small blood sample, which was spun in a centrifuge to make platelet-rich plasma. The main goal was to measure how much the platelet count increased compared to whole blood. No disease or treatment was involved.
