Can a chat with a therapist boost vaccination rates?
NCT ID NCT06062056
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special type of supportive conversation about vaccines into regular mental health therapy could help Latinx adults with mental illness get their COVID-19 and flu shots. The program was designed to be respectful of cultural values and easy for community health centers to use. The trial involved nearly 3,700 participants but was stopped early (terminated).
