New antibiotic tested in kids fighting hospital infections

Summary
This study is testing the safety and how the body processes the antibiotic Vaborem in children from birth to under 18 years old. All participants are hospitalized with a suspected or confirmed serious bacterial infection and will receive Vaborem through an IV. The main goal is to find the right dose for children by measuring drug levels in the blood and monitoring for side effects.
