Personalized vaccine trial aims to boost immune attack on lung cancer

Summary
This study is testing if adding a new personalized cancer vaccine called V940 to standard immunotherapy and chemotherapy helps people with advanced squamous non-small cell lung cancer live longer and keeps their cancer from growing. The trial will compare results for 180 participants who receive the vaccine combination against those who receive a placebo with the standard drugs. The goal is to see if training the immune system to specifically target a person's cancer improves treatment outcomes.
