Summary
This study tested a new dengue vaccine called V181 in 1,364 healthy adults aged 18 to 50 in Brazil. The goal was to see if V181 is safe and triggers a strong immune response against all four types of dengue virus, comparing it to an existing vaccine. Results showed that V181 worked as well as the other vaccine in producing protective antibodies after 28 days.
