Summary
This study tested a drug called V117957 in 47 women with interstitial cystitis, a condition that causes bladder pain and discomfort. The goal was to see if the drug is safe and can reduce pain compared to a placebo. Participants rated their worst bladder pain each day and night. This was an early-stage trial, so results are preliminary.
