Summary
This study tested a new vaccine called V116 in 313 adults living with HIV to see if it can safely prevent pneumococcal disease (a serious lung infection). Participants received either the new vaccine or an existing one, and researchers monitored side effects and immune responses. The goal is to offer better protection for people with HIV, who are at higher risk for this disease.
