Eye fluid test could predict best drug for stubborn eye inflammation

NCT ID NCT07262437

Summary

This study aims to find out if analyzing the fluid inside the eye can help doctors predict which immunosuppressive drug will work best for a patient with non-infectious uveitis. Researchers will collect fluid and blood samples from about 220 patients whose eye inflammation hasn't fully responded to standard steroid treatments. By comparing the fluid's chemical profile to how well patients respond to different drugs, the goal is to create a more personalized treatment plan.
