Shining a light on stubborn skin fungus

NCT ID NCT07242703

Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of ultraviolet (UV) light therapy can help treat skin fungal infections that keep coming back or don't respond to standard antifungal pills. It will compare the light treatment directly against a combination of two common antifungal medications. The goal is to see if the light therapy can effectively clear the infection and prevent it from returning.
