New hope for breast cancer patients with brain tumors: drug combo enters key trial

Summary
This study tests a combination of two drugs, utidelone and capecitabine, in people with HER2-negative breast cancer that has spread to the brain. About 120 adults will receive the treatment to see if it shrinks brain tumors and controls the cancer elsewhere. The goal is to find a better option for this hard-to-treat condition.
