New pill aims to stop painful UTIs from coming back
NCT ID NCT07184827
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily oral capsule called U101 can prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women who get them frequently. About 348 women aged 20-76 with a history of multiple UTIs will take either U101 or a placebo (inactive pill) daily for 24 weeks. Researchers will compare the two groups to see if U101 reduces UTI recurrences, improves quality of life, and is safe to use.
