Scientists search for clues to stop uterus transplant rejection
NCT ID NCT04615221
Summary
This study aims to understand why the body sometimes rejects a transplanted uterus and to find simple, non-invasive tests to detect rejection early. Researchers will collect samples from 30 women, including transplant recipients, their donors, and a control group. The goal is to learn how the immune system reacts and if changes in vaginal bacteria are linked to rejection.
