Doctors test new techniques to make fibroid surgery safer
NCT ID NCT07352761
Summary
This study compares different surgical techniques to reduce blood loss during laparoscopic fibroid removal. Researchers will test three methods of temporarily blocking uterine arteries (clipping, suturing, or coagulation) against standard surgery without artery blocking. The goal is to find which technique best controls bleeding while protecting future fertility in 60 women with fibroids.
