Wearable patch aims to catch dangerous medication side effects before a fall happens

NCT ID NCT06665685

Summary

This small pilot study tested if a wearable patch could help doctors spot when medications cause walking problems in nursing home residents. The goal was to see if this information could help doctors make safer medication choices to prevent falls. The study was terminated early and focused on whether the patch was safe and acceptable to use, not on whether it actually reduced falls.
