First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a new device called UrOActive®, an artificial urinary sphincter, for men with stress urinary incontinence (leaking urine when coughing, sneezing, or moving). About 140 men will get the implant and be followed for 26 weeks to see if their urine leakage drops by at least half. The goal is to improve bladder control without needing lifelong medication.
