Mail-In pee test could spare millions painful cancer scans
NCT ID NCT06310759
Summary
This study is testing whether a new urine test that looks for cancer DNA can replace many invasive cystoscopies. Cystoscopy is a common but uncomfortable procedure where a thin tube with a camera is inserted into the bladder to check for cancer. Researchers will enroll 3000 people scheduled for this procedure to see if the simpler urine test is just as accurate for diagnosis.
