Summary
This study aims to measure how well the body produces urea in healthy people and in those with urea cycle disorders (UCDs). Researchers will use a safe, non-radioactive tracer to track urea production from blood samples. The goal is to develop a better way to test the effectiveness of new treatments for UCDs. Up to 100 participants of any age will be enrolled at a single hospital in Zurich.
