NCT ID NCT07338955
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is translating and testing an Urdu version of a standard questionnaire for arm, shoulder, and hand disabilities. About 385 Urdu-speaking patients with upper limb issues will fill out the questionnaire to see if it is reliable and accurate. The goal is to give doctors a better way to assess these problems in Urdu speakers, improving diagnosis and treatment decisions.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a reliable tool for doctors to assess arm, shoulder, and hand disabilities in Urdu-speaking patients, improving care and communication.
What could go wrong
This is a validation study, not a treatment trial. It may not lead to direct health improvements, and the questionnaire might not work equally well for all Urdu speakers.
