Robotic arm trial offers new hope for stroke and injury patients
NCT ID NCT07000279
Summary
This study is testing a new wearable robotic device designed to help people who have lost arm and hand function due to a stroke or a severe nerve injury. The device combines a robotic exoskeleton for the shoulder and elbow with electrical stimulation for the wrist and hand. Researchers will see if it's safe and practical to use, and if it helps people perform everyday tasks like reaching, eating, and moving objects.
