NCT ID NCT07202130

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at how well string instrument players use their arms and hands, and whether things like shoulder position sense, posture, joint looseness, and performance anxiety play a role. Researchers will compare 34 musicians with 34 non-musicians using tests of strength, balance, coordination, and pain. The goal is to understand what factors affect upper limb function in musicians, which could help prevent or treat common playing-related injuries.
