New filler goes head-to-head with restylane for smile-line wrinkles

Summary
This study tested whether a new filler called UNIVELO Sub-Q works as well as Restylane Sub-Q for temporarily softening deep smile lines (nasolabial folds). 65 adults with moderate to severe wrinkles received both fillers on opposite sides of their face. Neither the patients nor the evaluators knew which side got which filler. The study lasted 48 weeks and measured wrinkle severity and overall aesthetic improvement.
