First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This study tested a new dermal filler called UNIVELO Sub-Q against the well-known Restylane Sub-Q for temporarily smoothing deep smile lines (nasolabial folds). 65 adults with moderate to severe wrinkles received both fillers on opposite sides of their face. Researchers measured wrinkle severity and aesthetic improvement over 48 weeks to see if the new filler works as well as the existing one.
