Doctors question a common surgical step for childhood testicle condition
NCT ID NCT07319637
Summary
This study compared two ways of performing surgery to correct an undescended testicle in boys. It looked at whether tying off a small sac near the testicle during the operation is necessary. Researchers wanted to see if this step affected surgery time or the risk of developing a hernia afterward, to help doctors choose the safest and simplest approach.
