First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving birth in water (waterbirth) is better than giving birth on land for low-risk pregnancies. Researchers will compare pain relief use, length of labor, and safety for both mother and baby. About 230 adults in labor will be randomly assigned to either water or land birth.
